PML-N chief raises pointed questions about Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, announces special focus on Gilgit-Baltistan development

Pakistan Muslim League-N supremo Nawaz Sharif delivered a pointed critique of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government while addressing the party’s Parliamentary Board meeting, questioning whether the province’s residents are truly benefiting from the basic facilities long promised to them.
“Is every resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa breathing a sigh of relief?” Nawaz asked, adding that this question must be directed at the provincial government which has for years made sweeping promises to the people while ground realities tell a different story.
The PML-N chief said that people measure governance not by slogans but by tangible delivery — and until free education, functional hospitals, and reliable public transport reach every doorstep, no claim of progress holds merit.
On Gilgit-Baltistan, Nawaz Sharif announced that the party is giving special attention to the development of the region, stressing that the people of GB are an integral part of Pakistan and that addressing their long-standing deprivations remains a top priority for the party.
