Islamabad, Pakistan— In a tragic incident, four members of a family — including a woman and a minor child — were shot dead during a domestic dispute in the jurisdiction of Noone Police Station (Thana Noon) in Islamabad.
According to police sources, the bodies of two men, one woman, and one child were recovered from the upper floor of a house in the Jhangi Syedan area or its vicinity under Thana Noon. All four victims were shot in the head.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a heated family argument, which some sources suggest may be linked to long-standing enmity or a property dispute. Police and rescue teams reached the scene promptly, shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital, and cordoned off the area.
The Islamabad Police have launched a full-scale investigation and an operation to apprehend the suspects. No arrests have been reported so far.
The killings have spread fear and panic in the locality. This incident once again highlights the alarming rise in domestic violence and familial feuds in Pakistan that often claim innocent lives, including women and children.
Authorities are appealing for calm and have assured strict action against those responsible. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
