LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Law Punjab Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan has extended congratulations and best wishes to the newly elected office-bearers of the Lahore High Court Court Reporters Association.
The minister congratulated President Abad-ul-Haq, Secretary Shakeel Saeed, Senior Vice President Yousaf Shah, Vice President Munir Bajwa, Vice President (Lower Court) Naeem Malik, and Finance Secretary Jamal-ud-Din Jamali on their success.
In his statement, Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan highlighted the vital role of court reporters in promoting the rule of law, noting that accurate and responsible reporting of court proceedings is a significant national duty.
He emphasized that court reporting is a sensitive and responsible profession requiring integrity and professional competence. Free, responsible, and credible reporting, he said, helps strengthen public confidence in the justice system.
The provincial minister expressed hope that the newly elected office-bearers will effectively discharge their responsibilities and contribute positively to the welfare of court reporters and the improvement of professional standards.
