UVAS Launches Tree Plantation Campaign to Promote Greenery

LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has launched a tree plantation campaign to promote greenery and address environmental concerns across its campuses.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani (Izaz-i-Fazeelat), along with Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science and Principal Officer Students Affairs Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, planted saplings at the UVAS Main Lawn to formally inaugurate the campaign.
Several faculty members and administrative officials were also present on the occasion, including Estate Management Officer Prof Dr Muhammad Azam and Director Students Affairs Dr Muhammad Oneeb.
Speaking at the event, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani emphasized the importance of environmental sustainability and stated that the university aims to play its role in addressing environmental challenges. He added that a large number of saplings would be planted across all UVAS campuses as part of the initiative to enhance greenery.
