KHANEWAL: Commissioner Multan Division, Amir Karim Khan, visited Khanewal and conducted a detailed inspection of the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
During the visit, a delegation from the District Press Club Khanewal, led by President Ahmad Raza Qadri, called on the Commissioner. The delegation included General Secretary Chaudhry Adnan Saeed, Chairman Executive Committee Qulzam Bashir Ahmad, Vice President Chaudhry Tanveer, Executive Committee Member Tahir Naseem, and Muhammad Nadeem, among others.
The delegation appreciated the Commissioner’s proactive role in ensuring the timely completion of development projects across the Multan Division, particularly in Khanewal. They also invited him to visit the District Press Club Khanewal, which he accepted, assuring them of a visit in the near future.
During his tour of DHQ Hospital, Commissioner Amir Karim Khan inspected various departments and interacted with patients to evaluate the quality of healthcare services. He emphasized that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, concerted efforts are being made to improve service delivery and ensure the provision of basic healthcare facilities to the public.
He directed the relevant authorities to complete the upgradation of the dental ward on an emergency basis and commended the district administration for their ongoing efforts.
Deputy Commissioner Maliha Rashid, Medical Superintendent Dr. Amara, Additional Deputy Commissioner Fazal Cheema, Assistant Commissioner Rohit Kumar, District Manager Suthra Punjab Usman Khurshid, WASA official Muneem Saeed, and other officers were also present on the occasion.
