International Desk — Farhana Bhat, one of the most talked-about contestants of Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 19, has made a deeply personal revelation — she severed ties with her own family in order to pursue her career in the entertainment industry.
The Kashmir-born actress, known for her bold and fearless personality on the show, said in a candid interview that when her relatives refused to support her at the most critical time of her life, she made the painful decision to walk away. She even gave them permission to publicly disown her.
“My biggest risk was isolating myself from my own family. I told them they could publicly announce that I am not theirs,” she said. “There was only me and my mother. It was complete loneliness — but I refused to give up on my dreams.”
Since leaving the Bigg Boss house, Farhana has appeared in a music video alongside singer-composer Amal Mallik and is now gearing up for her next big challenge — Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 15.
