MAKKAH AL-MUKARRAMAH — Sheikh Ali Abdur Rahman Al-Hudhaifi, Imam of Masjid-e-Nabawi, delivered the Hajj sermon (Khutbah-e-Hajj) from Masjid Nimrah on the plains of Arafat, addressing millions of pilgrims gathered from across the world.
In his address, Sheikh Al-Hudhaifi urged the global Muslim community to uphold the fear of Allah and embrace Taqwa (God-consciousness), calling it a defining characteristic of true believers. He stressed that Muslims must fulfil their covenants and worship none but Allah alone.
The Imam emphasized that the most important act in preparing for the Hereafter is sincerely upholding the oneness of Allah (Tawheed). He noted that a hallmark of the faithful is their unwavering commitment to Tawheed, and that their hearts soften whenever the verses of Allah are recited before them.
Sheikh Al-Hudhaifi reaffirmed that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets (Khatam-un-Nabiyyeen) — a cornerstone belief of Islam.
Concluding his sermon, the Imam urged the entire Muslim Ummah to hold firmly to patience (Sabr) in every trial and hardship, for patience is the shield of the believer in this world and the next.
