During the seminar, health experts briefed participants on the symptoms of dengue fever, preventive measures, and the importance of eliminating mosquito breeding sites. Speakers emphasized that public awareness and preventive action remain critical in reducing the risk of dengue outbreaks.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Nudrat Sohail and Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain stated that vigilance and preventive measures are the most effective tools in the fight against dengue. They urged citizens to avoid water stagnation in homes, offices, and surrounding areas, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Medical experts also highlighted the importance of personal hygiene, including regular handwashing and maintaining a clean environment, as essential practices for protecting communities from mosquito-borne and other infectious diseases.
