Modern Facilities, Swift Drainage Solutions to Transform Lahore: Bilal Yasin

Visits Constituency, Reviews Roads and Drainage Projects

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin visited his constituency, where he received a warm welcome from community elders and residents. During the visit, he reviewed the completed road, sewerage, and drainage projects in the area, with citizens expressing their appreciation for the government’s development efforts.

Addressing the gathering, Bilal Yasin said that public service remains the Punjab Government’s highest priority. He stated that, in line with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the journey of development and progress is continuing across every constituency of the province.

“We are fulfilling the promises made to the people and will not tolerate unnecessary delays in development projects,” he said.

The provincial minister emphasized that the completion of these development schemes will provide citizens with modern and improved public facilities. He added that underground water storage tanks have been constructed to ensure the swift drainage of rainwater from streets and roads, helping to reduce urban flooding during the monsoon season.

Bilal Yasin further said that, under the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the government is turning the vision of a developed and prosperous Punjab into reality. He added that the Walled City of Lahore will benefit from modern parking plazas, cultural heritage restoration, and significant improvements in public amenities.
