LAHORE: Commissioner Punjab Social Security Zulfiqar Ali Kharal has intensified monitoring of the Directorates of Social Security to ensure the timely achievement of recovery targets, with performance reviews now being conducted on a daily basis.
Chairing a review meeting at the Punjab Social Security Head Office, the Commissioner assessed the performance of the Directorates of Social Security Lahore (City), Sheikhupura, Faisalabad (North), Gujrat and Sialkot.
During the meeting, the respective directors briefed the Commissioner on recovery targets, progress under the Maryam Nawaz Ration Card Programme, and ongoing field operations.
Following an individual performance review of each directorate, Zulfiqar Ali Kharal directed the officers concerned to adopt effective measures to achieve the assigned recovery targets within the stipulated timeframe.
The Commissioner further instructed officials to strengthen field monitoring, accelerate inspection activities and improve administrative efficiency to ensure better institutional performance.
He emphasised that all concerned officers must take practical steps to streamline administrative affairs and meet their assigned targets without delay.
Reiterating the Punjab Social Security administration’s commitment to accountability and performance, Zulfiqar Ali Kharal warned that no negligence in achieving recovery targets would be tolerated and urged all officers to further improve their performance to ensure efficient service delivery.
