LAHORE: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore observed Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir by organising a solidarity walk and observing a one-minute silence to express support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The walk was led by UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani and attended by Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Prof. Dr. Kamran Ashraf, Dean, Faculty of Bio-Sciences, Prof. Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman, Registrar Sajjad Hyder, along with a large number of students, faculty members and administrative staff.
Participants raised slogans in support of the Kashmiri people and expressed solidarity with their struggle.
The walk commenced from the Vice-Chancellor’s Office and concluded at the university’s main lawn after passing through various sections of the City Campus.
Similar Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir activities, including solidarity events and observances, were also held at all other campuses of UVAS to reaffirm support for the people of Kashmir.
