Mannan’s wife, Neha Ali, appealed to Kohli for help when her husband was diagnosed with cancer. Responding to her plea, Kohli arranged for Mannan’s initial admission to a major cancer hospital in Mumbai.
Following examinations, the medical team advised that Mannan’s condition required an operation best performed in the United States. Kohli then arranged for Mannan and his wife to travel to the US for treatment. According to Indian media reports, Mannan underwent surgery there recently and doctors have declared him fully recovered.
Doctors informed Kohli’s management of the successful outcome, and Neha Ali publicly praised and thanked Kohli for his role in securing treatment for her husband. The case has been highlighted in domestic and international outlets as an example of compassion and timely support.
