LAHORE: Renowned businesswomen Mah Noor Ali Naqi Butt and Iqra Sahiba have inaugurated SAEEDAS Beauty Salon in Garhi Shahu, Lahore.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Member Punjab Assembly Uzma Butt, Member Punjab Assembly Mumtaz Begum, and former Member Punjab Assembly Farzana Butt, who formally inaugurated the salon.

A large number of political, social and business personalities, along with friends and family members, attended the ceremony and congratulated Mah Noor and Iqra on the launch of their new business venture.

Speaking on the occasion, MPA Uzma Butt said she strongly supports women’s empowerment and believes women should be encouraged to become financially independent. She said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is also taking various steps to support and empower women.

Uzma Butt appreciated the support being provided by Mah Noor’s family, particularly her husband Ali Naqi Zubair Butt, saying that family encouragement plays an important role in enabling women to pursue their professional and business goals.

MPA Mumtaz Begum said men and women are like the two wheels of a vehicle and both have an important role to play in the economic development of society. She stressed that women should be encouraged to stand on their own feet and contribute to the economy.

Former MPA Farzana Butt congratulated the entrepreneurs and prayed for the success and prosperity of the new business. She said she fully supports her daughter-in-law and believes that families should encourage women to pursue their ambitions and become economically empowered.

Among the prominent women who attended the ceremony were Lahore Ladies Club President Ambrain Farooq, General Secretary Shafaq Mustafa, Tanveer Chaudhry, Shahzadi Kabir, Zarqa Sahiba, Sadaf Abdullah, Nabila Akbar, Kiran Butt, Khushbakht Sarmad, Nimra Butt, Halima Qureshi, Mah Noor, Sameera and Momina Wager, along with a large number of other women.

Men also attended the event, including former SP Mian Zaheer, Sohail Yousuf Butt, Khawaja Sarfaraz, Imran Butt, Naeem Butt, Ahmed Sarfaraz and Raju Sarfaraz.

The family also expressed its full support for Mah Noor Ali Butt. Her husband Ali Naqi Zubair Butt and father-in-law Muhammad Zubair Butt, also known as Berry Butt, a well-known international weightlifter of Pakistan, were present to encourage and support her new business venture.

The ceremony concluded with a dinner hosted for the guests.
