Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), has warned in an article that the U.S. could impose sanctions on Israel similar to those on Iran after the 2028 presidential election.

Dubowitz recommended that Israel deepen military, technological, intelligence and economic integration with the U.S. so that any sanctions against Israel would also carry significant costs for Washington.
