Dera Ismail Khan: The death toll from the blast at the Darazinda Aman Mela joint check post has risen to 12, with 35 others injured.
According to RPO Dera Ghulam Mabshar Mekan, one Customs official is among the dead, while all other victims are civilians. He said no personnel from the Pakistan Army or Police were among those killed.
The dead include 9 men, 2 women, and one child.
Of the 35 injured, 25 have been referred to DHQ Hospital Dera Ismail Khan. The RPO said emergency medical aid and transfer of the wounded to hospitals is ongoing.
