LAHORE: The Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organised a walk and seminar at the City Campus on Friday to mark World Pharmacist Day.
The event aimed to highlight and promote the vital role of pharmacists in improving healthcare and contributing to better health outcomes worldwide.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani led the awareness walk, which was attended by Director Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS) Dr. Tahir Mehmood Khan, faculty members and a large number of students.
The walk commenced from the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, proceeded around the City Campus and concluded in front of the main lawn.
The participants highlighted the importance of pharmacists in healthcare delivery and raised awareness about their contribution to promoting safe and effective use of medicines.
