LAHORE: The Higher Education Department Punjab has nominated retired educationist Muhammad Azam Butt as a Board Member of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore.
According to an official notification issued by the department, Butt, a retired headmaster, has been nominated in the category of retired educationists under the relevant provisions of the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Act, 2025.
The nomination will remain effective for three years or until otherwise decided by the competent authority.
The Higher Education Department has forwarded the notification to the relevant authorities, including the Chairman and Secretary of BISE Lahore, for necessary action.
