LAHORE (Pakistan): A delegation from the University of the Punjab (PU), led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, visited the mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal to pay homage to the great philosopher, poet, and thinker of the Subcontinent.
The delegation laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha for the departed soul. In his message, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali paid rich tribute to Allama Iqbal’s enduring contributions to philosophy, literature, and the idea of Pakistan.
He emphasized that Iqbal’s philosophy, poetry, and political thought should not only be studied but practiced in everyday life. The Vice Chancellor also recorded his remarks in the visitors’ book and offered prayers for the progress and prosperity of the country and the nation.
