Lahore: Lahore Police on Thursday successfully reunited two missing minor siblings with their parents within two hours, highlighting the force’s efficiency and professionalism.
According to a Lahore Police spokesperson, the children went missing while returning home from Paradise School in Shahdara Town. Following a call to the emergency Helpline 15, Shahdara Town Police immediately launched a coordinated search operation.
Under the supervision of SP City Bilal Ahmed, police teams employed human intelligence and modern technology to locate the siblings — 14-year-old Mehak and her six-year-old brother Moez. The children were safely found in the Old Narowal Road area and reunited with their parents.
The parents expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the Lahore Police for their swift action.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana emphasized that ensuring a peaceful, safe, and child-friendly Lahore remains the police’s top priority. He added that 37 missing children have been reunited with their families in Lahore so far this year.
