LAHORE – Punjab Governor Saleem Haider on Friday condemned the deadly blast in Islamabad, saying that the entire country stands in solidarity with the families of those killed in the attack.
Speaking to the media in Taxila, Haider said Pakistan was united in grief and resolve following the incident, which claimed multiple lives.
He alleged that India was supporting acts of terrorism through Afghanistan, adding that the Pakistani nation remains united against such threats. “Every Pakistani stands firmly with the Pakistan Army,” he said.
The governor further stated that terrorism would not weaken Pakistan, asserting that those responsible would be eliminated from the country’s soil.
India has not responded to the allegations.
