On the special directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, a number of Islamabad Police officers have been promoted to higher ranks. dignified promotion ceremonies were held at the Operations Division and Safe City Islamabad in honour of the newly promoted officers.
DIG Operations Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DG Safe City / DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya, accompanied by senior police officials, presented the new ranks to the promoted officers, extending warm congratulations and best wishes to each one of them.
Addressing the occasion, senior officers reminded the newly promoted personnel that their advancement is a reward for their hard work and dedication, and that greater responsibilities now rest on their shoulders.
They urged the officers to uphold the honour of the department, prioritize justice for citizens, and carry out their duties with integrity, professionalism, and a sincere spirit of public service. The IGP Islamabad has also issued clear directives that the promotion process across all vacant positions will continue without interruption.
