Tehran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has issued new military directives following a meeting with General Ali Abdollahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, according to Iranian state media.
The meeting focused on continuing military operations and maintaining a firm stance against adversaries. During the meeting, General Abdollahi briefed the Supreme Leader on the operational readiness of Iran’s armed forces. The report did not specify when the meeting took place.
General Abdollahi stated that Iran’s armed forces are “fully prepared to counter any action by American and Zionist enemies.” He further warned that “if the enemy makes any mistake, Iran’s response will be immediate, firm, and decisive.”
The briefing comes amid heightened regional tensions following recent US and Israeli strikes on Iranian targets.
