Lahore, Pakistan – In a high-profile case that has sparked widespread outrage and calls for accountability, Lahore Police have arrested four men, including Muhammad Raza Dar (also referred to as Ahmad Raza Dar), a close relative/grandson of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. They face serious allegations of kidnapping, gang rape, extortion, and blackmail involving two foreign women.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) registered at Defence-C Police Station, the victims — a woman from the Netherlands (Stephanie Adriana) and another from Venezuela — met Raza Dar in Singapore in October 2025. He allegedly invited them to Pakistan, assisted with visas, and received them upon arrival around June 29, 2026.
The women alleged they were taken to an abandoned house in Lahore’s Defence area, where they were held captive, stripped, robbed, gang-raped multiple times, threatened with weapons, and demanded a ransom of approximately $1.5 million. They were also allegedly threatened with organ harvesting. The victims managed to record evidence, including a video of the vehicle, and contacted their families via WhatsApp, prompting intervention by foreign embassies.
Lahore Police acted on the complaints and embassy pressure, rescuing the women and arresting the suspects. A court granted physical remand of the accused. One suspect remains at large. Medical examinations confirmed the allegations.
The case has drawn significant attention due to the accused’s family connections to senior PML-N leadership, including links to Ishaq Dar’s family and relations to Maryam Nawaz. Opposition figures and social media have raised questions about potential influence and demanded transparent justice. Police and government officials have stated that the investigation will proceed without bias.
