Islamabad – A media interaction by Aleema Khan, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, was marred by violence when party workers assaulted journalists covering the event.
According to eyewitnesses, journalist Tayyab Baloch was beaten and forcibly removed from the media talk. Despite the incident unfolding in front of the party leadership, no attempt was made to restrain the workers involved.
In protest against the assault, journalists boycotted the media talk, demanding accountability and protection for media professionals.
