Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said that political differences should not be turned into personal enmity.
Addressing a meeting, Nawaz Sharif said he had not expected to face complaints from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), adding that political disputes should be resolved through dialogue and mutual understanding.
“Political differences must not be converted into hostility,” he said.
Commenting on the situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Nawaz Sharif said the environment that had developed there was a source of concern for everyone. He attributed the situation to the failure of previous governments to fulfil their responsibilities.
He said there was no room for disappointing the public or undermining their trust. “If we fail to deliver in Azad Kashmir, the people will become disappointed,” Nawaz Sharif warned.
