LAHORE, September 26: Prof. Dr. Jodat Saleem has assumed charge as the new Principal of Ameer-ud-Din Medical College (AMC), Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and Lahore General Hospital (LGH), pledging to improve patient care, strengthen discipline and ensure a better hospital environment.
Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain warmly welcomed the newly appointed Principal and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. He also briefed Prof. Dr. Jodat Saleem on the hospital’s administrative affairs, teaching activities and healthcare facilities.
Prof. Dr. Faryad Hussain said the appointment of the new Principal would help further strengthen discipline and contribute to the overall improvement of the institution. He assured Prof. Dr. Jodat Saleem of full cooperation in providing quality medical facilities to patients and enhancing institutional standards.
He said joint efforts would continue to ensure cleanliness, security and discipline across the hospital.
Prof. Dr. Jodat Saleem, meanwhile, expressed his commitment to providing quality healthcare services and a pleasant environment for patients in line with the directives of the Punjab Government.
He made it clear that there would be no compromise on discipline in any department and announced that a zero-tolerance policy would be strictly enforced at every level.
The new Principal also directed that cleanliness standards be further improved and instructed security personnel to remain fully alert while performing their duties.
He further said hardworking, dedicated and high-performing employees would be encouraged and appreciated for their contributions.
