LAHORE: Punjab Provincial Minister for Communications and Works Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth has directed all field formations of the Communications and Works (C&W) Department to compile comprehensive district-wise data of machinery available across the province.
The directive was issued during a meeting chaired by the provincial minister to review the machinery of the Highway Department.
Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharth instructed the relevant authorities to collect complete details of the machinery, including its type, quantity, current location and operational status.
He further directed officials to prepare a separate record of functional and non-functional machinery, as well as equipment requiring repairs, to ensure accurate and verified information about available resources in every district.
The minister emphasized the importance of providing authentic and verified data and directed all field formations to submit a comprehensive report covering machinery across all districts as soon as possible.
