Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has accused India of continuing conspiracies against Pakistan, while asserting that Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements are now widely recognized across the world.
Speaking at a seminar titled “Pakistan’s Diplomatic Achievements” in Islamabad, Tarar said that the services of Pakistan’s diplomats will always be remembered for their dedication and professionalism. He praised the Foreign Service of Pakistan as one of the finest in the world, emphasizing that it carries forward a legacy of excellence and integrity.
“Diplomacy is not only an art learned through study but also through experience and hard work,” he said. “Our diplomats have always made Pakistan’s name shine on the world stage.”
The Information Minister added that Pakistan has made immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, and yet, the country has often been wrongly accused of supporting it. Referring to the Pahalgam incident, Tarar said that Pakistan immediately offered India an independent investigation, which was supported by several friendly nations.
He noted that Pakistan’s global diplomatic efforts helped the country gain widespread support. “Under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, we defeated an enemy four times our size,” Tarar stated, applauding the role of Pakistan’s armed forces.
He further revealed that Pakistan’s Coast Guards had recently arrested a sailor accused of spying for India, who allegedly confessed to being used by Indian intelligence agencies.
“When war was imposed on us, our armed forces responded decisively,” Tarar said. “The heroism of our Air Force in the battle for justice will be written in golden letters.”
