Quetta, Pakistan – November 4, 2025:
Pakistan’s security forces have killed four suspected militants in a targeted intelligence-based operation in the country’s southwestern Balochistan province, the military said on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted overnight on November 1 in the Qalat district following reports of the presence of armed militants linked to a group described as “Fitna-e-Hindustan,” alleged to have Indian backing.
“During the intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed,” the ISPR said, adding that a cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site.
The military said the slain men were involved in several acts of sabotage and violence in the region. A clearance and sanitization operation in the surrounding area is continuing to ensure the elimination of any remaining threats.
Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest but least populated province, has long faced a low-intensity insurgency, with militants often targeting security forces and infrastructure. Pakistan accuses India of supporting separatist groups in the region — a claim New Delhi denies.
