LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League Season 11 has resumed in Lahore under stringent security arrangements, with authorities ensuring the safety of players, officials, and spectators.
Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana termed the development a positive step towards promoting international cricket in Pakistan, stating that comprehensive and foolproof security measures had been put in place. He assured that both local and foreign players are being provided with full protection.
Security arrangements have been extended to the Gaddafi Stadium, team hotels, and all transit routes, with strict directives issued to field officers for effective implementation. The CCPO also emphasized efficient traffic management to ensure smooth vehicular flow and minimize inconvenience for citizens.
A total of eight matches are scheduled in Lahore, including today’s fixture between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators.
