By Muhammad Shahzad | Lahore, Pakistan A grand ceremony and historic rally were organized in Chiniot under the leadership of Federal Minister for Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh to mark the completion of one year of the “Battle of Truth – Bunyan-un-Marsoos.” The event saw large participation from citizens, traders, youth, and people from various walks of life.
Addressing the gathering, Federal Minister Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh paid glowing tribute to the courage, sacrifices, and key role of the Pakistan Armed Forces in defending the country. He said that all conspiracies aimed at weakening Pakistan have failed, and the entire nation stands firmly united with its armed forces.
He recalled that during an earlier period of heightened tensions, when some elements were criticising the armed forces, the first rally in Chiniot sent a strong message of unity, showing that the Pakistani nation stands like a solid wall with its military.
The minister said that despite India’s defence budget being significantly larger than Pakistan’s, the support of Almighty Allah, the spirit of the nation, and the professionalism of the armed forces crushed the enemy’s arrogance. He added that under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s armed forces successfully foiled hostile designs and proved that the country’s defence is impregnable.
He further stated that India’s aggressive strategy aimed to weaken Pakistan economically and isolate it internationally. However, due to effective strategy and strong diplomacy, Pakistan’s global standing has improved. He said that international recognition and respect for Pakistan and its military leadership reflect growing acknowledgment of the country’s position.
After the ceremony, a large and vibrant rally was led by the Federal Minister from his residence towards Pir Bhatta Bazaar, Muslim Bazaar, and Chowk Farooq-e-Azam. The rally became the highlight of the event, with participants chanting slogans in support of Pakistan and the armed forces.
Citizens and traders warmly welcomed the procession, showering flower petals along the route. National flags were widely displayed, and participants expressed strong solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
At the conclusion of the event, prayers were offered for the country’s security, stability, and prosperity, while special tributes were paid to the martyrs of Pakistan.
