Youth Affairs & Sports Department Multan holds Inter-District Athletics Championship

KHANEWAL: The Youth Affairs & Sports Department Multan, Punjab, successfully organized the Inter-District Men and Women Athletics Championship at the Sports Stadium in Multan on Friday as part of its Annual Sports Calendar.

Athletes from all four districts of the Multan Division—Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, and Vehari—participated in the championship, demonstrating enthusiasm, competitive spirit, and athletic excellence.

The event featured a range of track and field competitions, providing a platform for talented athletes to showcase their abilities and compete at the divisional level. The championship was aimed at promoting athletics, encouraging healthy competition, and identifying emerging talent for participation in higher-level events.

Speaking on the occasion, Ata ur Rehman Khan, Divisional Sports Officer Multan, said the Youth Affairs & Sports Department Punjab remains committed to creating opportunities for young athletes to excel and make positive contributions to society through sports.

He appreciated the participation of athletes from all districts and praised them for their discipline, dedication, and exemplary sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The championship was conducted in an organized and professional manner under the supervision of departmental officials and attracted a large number of spectators and sports enthusiasts.

At the conclusion of the event, medals and certificates were awarded to the winning athletes in recognition of their outstanding performances and achievements.
