Car Bombing and Shooting Attacks Kill 5 in Israel; IDF Commander Falls in South Lebanon Clashes

TEL AVIV / BEIRUT — A series of deadly attacks struck Israel on Sunday, leaving five civilians dead across multiple incidents, while a separate confrontation in South Lebanon claimed the life of an Israeli military commander, significantly escalating tensions across the region.
In the coastal city of Jaffa, a car bomb explosion tore through a crowded area, killing two Israeli civilians and wounding several others. Emergency services rushed to the scene as security forces cordoned off the area and launched an immediate investigation.
