SANGALA HILL: Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, on Tuesday said that the rule of law is the foundation of every civilized and progressive society, emphasizing that no country can build strong institutions or achieve sustainable development without ensuring the supremacy of law.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Lawyers’ Chamber Block at the Tehsil Bar Association Sangla Hill, the Speaker said that whenever the rule of law is undermined, society as a whole suffers the consequences. He urged all political stakeholders to put national interests above personal agendas and work collectively to strengthen constitutional and legal institutions.
