LAHORE: The Directorate of Students Affairs of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organized a seminar on “Mobility Trends and Scholarship Opportunities Offered by the British Council” at the university’s City Campus.

UVAS Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani, Director Students Affairs Dr. Muhammad Oneeb, Dr. Mariam Javed, Dr. Faseeha Qureshi, and a large number of students and faculty members attended the seminar.

Senior Manager Higher Education Mobility, British Council, Usman Khalid served as the resource person and delivered a detailed presentation for UVAS students and faculty members.

The awareness session provided participants with information about scholarships, postgraduate study opportunities, international mobility programmes and academic collaboration opportunities offered through the British Council and its partner institutions in the United Kingdom.

The session also covered available funding opportunities, eligibility criteria and application procedures, enabling students and researchers to better understand pathways for pursuing higher education and international academic opportunities.

The seminar also contributed to strengthening academic linkages between UVAS and the UK higher education sector and encouraged greater engagement in international mobility and research collaboration programmes.
