Makkah, Sheikh Ibrahim bin Adil Hamza Al-Madni, a well-known muezzin of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, passed away in the early hours of Monday. Condolences poured in on social media from people associated with the Two Holy Mosques and others.
A video shared on social media by Inside the Haramain was described as his final adhan at Masjid al-Haram. It shows views of the mosque and the Kaaba as his call to prayer echoes through the mosque’s loudspeakers. The adhan was given on Monday, 11 Rabi al-Awwal 1448 AH.
His funeral prayer will be held at Masjid al-Haram after Asr prayer on Monday, followed by burial at Jannat al-Mu’alla cemetery.
