LAHORE: Provincial Minister and Vice Chairperson of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab, Barrister Amjad Malik, chaired an E-Khuli Kachehri to hear the complaints and concerns of overseas Pakistanis and facilitate their resolution.
The E-Khuli Kachehri provides an effective platform for Pakistanis living abroad to directly present their grievances to the relevant authorities and strengthens the mechanism for timely redressal and follow-up of their complaints.
During the session, Barrister Amjad Malik heard various issues raised by overseas Pakistanis and sought updates from the concerned officials regarding progress on their complaints. He directed the officials to address the complaints seriously and ensure their timely resolution.
Commissioner OPC Humaira Ikram, Director General OPC Ahmer Nike, Director Administration Amir Ahmed Khan, Director Revenue Shoaib Naswana and other officers were also present.
Various issues faced by overseas Pakistanis were discussed during the E-Khuli Kachehri. The concerned officers briefed the participants on the action already taken on their complaints and the proposed course of action for resolving pending matters.
Barrister Amjad Malik said that overseas Pakistanis are playing an important role in the development of the country, and timely resolution of their issues remains one of the key priorities of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab.
He said the OPC is committed to providing overseas Pakistanis with an effective, transparent and accessible forum for the resolution of their grievances.
The minister further said that the E-Khuli Kachehri enables overseas Pakistanis to present their issues directly before the relevant authorities, facilitating direct engagement and ensuring effective follow-up throughout the complaint redressal process.
