London — U.S. President Donald Trump is set to meet British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on the second day of his state visit to the United Kingdom, with the agenda now shifting from ceremonial events to business discussions.

On Tuesday, Trump was received with full royal honors in Windsor, where he met members of the British royal family. Today’s talks with Starmer are expected to focus on strengthening U.S.–UK trade ties and broader economic cooperation.

Meanwhile, thousands of protesters took to the streets of London, voicing opposition to what they described as an overly warm reception for a leader they accuse of authoritarian tendencies.

The White House says the visit marks a “new chapter” in U.S.–UK relations, while Downing Street emphasized the importance of pragmatic engagement despite political differences.
