Hajj organizers in Pakistan have uploaded their Hajj packages to a digital portal, the Ministry of Religious Affairs says.
According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, bookings under the private Hajj scheme have accelerated through the Pak Hajj app and portal, with 16 basic Hajj packages finalized for this year.
This year, Private Hajj packages will cost between Rs 1.4 million and Rs 3.75 million, with options including short-duration stays and five-star packages.
The ministry has advised pilgrims to select their packages and make payments only through the official portal or app.
It also warned that it would not be responsible for any losses resulting from direct payments to individuals or companies outside the designated system.
A total of 71,684 places have been allocated for the private Hajj scheme this year.
The deadline for selecting a package and completing payment is 20 November. The ministry said that if the allocated quota is not filled by the deadline, it may reallocate the quota.
