US authorities have uncovered a major healthcare fraud scheme involving five Pakistani nationals and a call centre operating from Pakistan.
According to details released by US health authorities, the suspects are accused of defrauding the US healthcare system of approximately $70 million, equivalent to around Rs200 billion.
Authorities allege that the suspects operated a fraudulent call centre in Pakistan under the name Hello International.
Five Pakistani nationals, including a woman, have reportedly been identified in connection with the case. The woman is believed to have fled the United States and may currently be in Dubai or Pakistan.
The suspects have reportedly been placed on a US wanted list as authorities continue their investigation.
According to the allegations, the fraud was carried out between 2023 and 2025 through the use of fraudulent invoices and stolen personal information belonging to US citizens.
Investigators allege that the suspects obtained victims’ personal data and used artificial intelligence technology to replicate their voices.

The allegedly stolen information and AI-generated voices were then used during verification and clearance procedures to facilitate fraudulent transactions.
US authorities have described the case as a significant healthcare fraud investigation and are continuing efforts to locate and prosecute those allegedly involved.
The allegations have not been independently verified, and the accused are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
