Samsung has started releasing the Stable Android 17-based One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The update is now available in South Korea, and Beta Program participants are getting it first.
If you have a Galaxy S26 series phone, the Stable One UI 9.0 update is coming soon. The firmware version ends in BZI6, includes the September 2026 security patch, and is about 650 megabytes for Beta devices.
Samsung’s official release finally ends the long wait for the One UI 9.0 update. The company has been testing this major firmware since May.
During this time, Samsung released seven major Beta updates for the Galaxy S26 series. They also rolled out a Beta 8 Hotfix for the Galaxy S26 Ultra in South Korea.
Beta participants are first in line as the update rolls out in stages. Other Galaxy S26 users should not have to wait long to get One UI 9 after using One UI 8.5.
If you are part of the Beta program, you may have already tried the latest features. The Beta 7 update adds several AI features and improvements to your device.
One UI 9 aims to improve the user experience, building on what One UI 8.0 and 8.5 offered. The Quick Panel, in particular, has major changes to the Brightness and Volume sliders compared to before.
