The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Pakistan has announced new features in version 5.8.0 of its Pak ID mobile app.
According to a statement issued by NADRA, citizens can now obtain, securely store and share digital identity cards for their spouses and eligible children alongside their own digital ID.

The new version also allows users to verify a Child Registration Certificate (B-Form) or a Cancellation Certificate by scanning its digital QR code through the app’s “Scan QR Code” feature. Verified information can then be viewed on the app.
NADRA said the updated app 5.8.0 also makes biometric verification easier for influenza and meningitis vaccinations required for Hajj and Umrah.
The authority has urged citizens to download the latest version of the Pak ID app to access the new features.
