The JUI-F chief expressed the view that imposing Governor’s Rule or an emergency in the province would create further problems, sources said.

The government delegation briefed Maulana Fazal ur Rehman on its negotiations with PTI, according to sources.

The delegation informed him that the negotiations had reached close to success but the chief minister repeatedly changed his stance, sources said.

Government ministers told Maulana Fazal ur Rehman that due to the attitude of the provincial leadership, Governor’s Rule or an emergency was becoming inevitable.

The government ministers also briefed him that the governance and security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was serious, claimed sources.
