Sophie Cunningham, Indiana Fever guard, has given tips to tall women who might be self-conscious about their height.

Cunningham waved the checkered flag during the F1 U.S. Grand Prix on Sunday in Austin, Texas.

She had a conversation with Gabby Gonzalez, a content creator, during the event. Gozalez asked for tips for tall girls after talking about their race-day attire.

Based on her personal experience, the 6-foot-1 guard has provided a personal message.

Cunningham remarked, saying,”My message never changes because this is why we are the way we are. Simply be you. And the things that are maybe like an insecurity or that you don’t want, embrace those because that is going to be your biggest superpower.

“And so I just think it could have been really easy back in the day to kind of bend down for photos or not embrace the height. But you know, whatever makes us different, that’s why God made us that way. So embrace it,” the former Missouri standout continued.

Cunningham’s career is about to reach a turning point. Her one-year contract with the Fever expires this offseason, and she will become a free agent. The 30-year-old averaged 7.9 points on 46.0% shooting, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 43 games during the previous campaign. Additionally, she made 1.6 three-pointers at a 41.9% clip.

Whether Indiana will make her a new contract offer is still up in the air. Cunningham will have to choose whether to return to the Fever or use her skills elsewhere if that is an option.
