The Embassy of Italy in Islamabad has warned that some elements are submitting forged or fraudulent documents with study visa applications.

In a statement, the embassy said it had observed an “unprecedented surge” in dubious or forged documents attached to study visa applications.

It urged applicants to avoid presenting false documents, particularly those related to proof of means of subsistence.

The embassy warned that submitting forged documents could lead to the immediate rejection of a visa application and may also negatively affect an applicant’s future visa applications.
