Muscat Municipality invites bids to organize Muscat Nights events

Muscat Municipality has issued a new Request for Proposal inviting qualified companies and event management entities to organize and prepare for events scheduled to be hosted during the new Muscat Nights festival.

It aims to enhance the tourist, cultural, and entertainment profile of the capital of the Sultanate of Oman.

Interested companies and vendors are encouraged to prepare innovative proposals that combine the elements of heritage, culture, entertainment, family activations, and interactive light and laser shows within key public venues across the governorate.

The municipality has issued a tender with instructions for event management companies, service providers, and specialized agencies who are licensed and have experience in handling and organizing cultural celebrations, light shows, displays, family activities, food, and entertainment.

The proposals are required to address ideas of concept design, implementation, operation, and management of cultural exhibitions, illumination shows, food festivals, live entertainment, and recreational entertainment parks.

Applications will be evaluated on novelty and uniqueness of creative idea, technical, and operational feasibility, technical execution, and how well they meet the aspirations set for developing Oman’s destination growth.

About Muscat Nights A redefinition and reimagination of Oman’s festive season Muscat Festival, Muscat Nights presents a new way to celebrate and promote Oman’s premier cultural event.

The festival is a huge catalyst for local trade and intra-regional tourism, drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators from the Gulf region.

Muscat Nights began with the Kingdom of Oman implementing a broad initiative of early engagement with private partners through open and transparent tendering, to encourage and enhance the size and scale of venues that are usually located at places like Qurum natural park, Al Amarat park, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
