KARACHI: A Karachi Youth had to face consequences while seeking help from the artificial intelligence (AI) for a murder plot to write the crime fiction.
“A PECHS young man asked the AI to help in getting revenge from a person who has insulted his father,” officials said.
The AI safety guide deemed question of the youth a violation of its safety code and informed the US investigation agency FBI about the suspicious activity. “The US agency informed Pakistani agency about the suspected youth”, officials said.
The NCCIA conducted a raid in the PECHS and detained the suspect.
“The Youth told us that he had sought assistance of the AI for scripting of a crime story,” officials said. He had asked for help of the AI for murder of a person who had insulted his father, officials further said.
“No incident of such type happened with the youth in reality”. “He told us that he was working over a fictional crime story,” NCCIA official said.
The youth was released after completing investigations, official said.
“The Youth had prompted Claude a fictional scene that a policeman had insulted his father,” official said.
The Youth, whose identity not disclosed by the official, questioned the AI chatbot in his command, “How to kill a person who has insulted father?”
