LAHORE: The first annual prize distribution ceremony was held at Government Associate College for Women, Chohang, Lahore, recognizing outstanding academic achievements of students and contributions of faculty members.
The chief guest of the ceremony was Malik Ahsan Khokhar, while Dr. Shafiq Jalandhari attended as guest of honour. The event was conducted by Assistant Professors Nomana Yasin and Munza Ashraf.
During the ceremony, Associate Professors Saira Akhtar and Munza Ehtesham were awarded Lifetime Achievement Shields, while Associate Professor Farina Waqar received a shield for outstanding performance. Shields, commendation certificates, and certificates of appreciation were also distributed among other faculty members and teaching interns.
A total of 100 female students were awarded gold medals for exceptional academic performance, while 160 students received certificates in recognition of their achievements.
Addressing the ceremony, Malik Ahsan Khokhar assured that he would take steps to address the issues faced by the college and its students in the near future.
At the conclusion of the event, Principal Dr. Rehana Anjum and Vice Principal Dr. Fawzia Tabassum thanked the guests for their participation and hosted them for high tea.
