Sindh has decided to implement the 2026 recruitment rules approved by the provincial Cabinet across all educational Boards. The rules will be formally notified through publication in the official government gazette.
The decisions were taken at a meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo, where officials reviewed the performance and administration of educational boards, as well as examinations and digitalization.
The meeting approved the immediate recruitment of IT specialists to support e-marking and digitalization initiatives.
All educational boards will recruit experts for positions including director of IT, website developer, system administrator and network security administrator.
Officials were also directed to prepare seniority lists of employees across all educational boards without delay.
The meeting further called for improved fire-safety measures in board buildings and steps to strengthen administrative procedures.
Separate recruitment rules for the Technical Education Board are also expected to be finalized soon.
It was also decided to recognize board chairpersons with certificates for ensuring the timely conduct of examinations and the prompt announcement of results.
The meeting emphasized administrative reforms, the use of modern technology and transparent recruitment processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the examination system.
