JAMSHORO: A disturbing incident has been reported in Jamshoro district, where an unidentified person allegedly abandoned two infants at a garbage dump and fled the scene.
According to police, the children, a seven-month-old baby girl and a one-and-a-half-year-old boy, were found with their hands and feet tied.
Police said a man travelling in a rickshaw allegedly left the two children at the garbage dump before fleeing. Local residents spotted the infants and alerted the police, who took the children into protective custody and brought them to Kotri Police Station.
Police said the children had been left helpless and without anyone to care for them. The incident has caused distress among local residents.

In a compassionate response, a female police constable took the infant girl into her care, while a local resident, Shehzad Memon, took responsibility for the young boy, ensuring that both children were not left without support.
Police have launched a search for the unidentified person allegedly responsible for abandoning the children and are continuing their investigation into the incident.
